AUTHOR’S TEA HELD AT ST. JUDE’S

AUTHOR’S TEA HELD AT ST. JUDE’S-Second grade students at St. Jude School in Mountaintop held their Author’s Tea in the school cafeteria to celebrate the publication of their book entitled Seasons,

detailing what each season reminds them of. These hard-cover, professionally bound books were the result of weeks of intense effort. The book is a compilation of each student’s original, illustrated, handwritten work. The students were encouraged to use descriptive words to enhance their writing, and included their senses by adding what they like to see, hear, touch, and smell. The process included pre-writing, editing, and final copy in cursive. Refreshments were enjoyed by family and friends following the presentation of the students’ work.
