The youth of St. Jude Parish are inviting senior citizens for an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship in the St. Jude School cafeteria. On Wednesday, July 30, seniors are invited to attend a Mass of Healing in the church at 11 a. m. A summer picnic and party will follow. Registration is a must! Call the Parish Center by July 23 to register.

The deadline for religious education registration is fast approaching. Please have registrations in by Friday, July 11 to avoid a late fee and have the choice of Sunday or Monday classes. Go to www.stjc.orgto register online or stop at the Parish Center during regular business hours.
Week of Service...Week of Hope (July 28 through 31) is open to students in grades 8 through 12. Everyone will gather each day at 8 a. m. Each day, the students will go out into the community to serve those in need at places like the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen, nursing homes, CEO Kid’s Camp, VOA, Ruth’s Place, and SPCA. The cost for the week is $30 which includes a t-shirt, bus transportation, snacks each day, and a pizza party on the last day. Registrations are due at the Parish Center by July 11. None will be accepted after this date. The opening prayer service for one parent and student will be Sunday, July 27 at 6 p. m. Following the prayer service, information on the week will be discussed. An ice cream social will follow.
Youth of the parish are invited to make a splash on August 1 at Camel Beach Water Park. The cost is $42 which includes admission, transportation, and a meal voucher. Registration forms, Hold Harmless Agreements, and money are due at the Parish Center by July 11. No forms will be taken after this date.
The First Annual St. Jude Parish Rummage Sale will be held August 8, 9, and 10 in the St. Jude School gym during the 2014 church picnic. The rummage sale will be limited to clean, usable household items, books, jewelry, toys, exercise items, furniture, and dishes. No clothing items will be available. Donations may be dropped off at the following times: Friday, July 25 and Friday, August 1 from 4 p. m. until 8 p. m.; and Saturday, July 26 and Saturday, August 2 from 9 a. m. until 1 p. m. Booth sponsorships for the annual picnic are still being accepted from businesses and families. The Silver Level is $100 to $499. The Gold Level is $500 and above. Each level includes a professionally made 18” x 24” sign. Call the Parish Center for more information.

Saturday Vigil Masses are 4 p. m. at St. Jude’s and 5:30 p. m. at St. Mary’s. Sunday Masses are 7:30 a. m., 9 a. m., 10:30 a. m. and noon at St. Jude’s and 9 a. m. at St. Mary’s.
