Shick Recognized For Outstanding Scholarship

Amy M. Shick, Mountain Top, has been notified by the University of Richmond that she has earned Dean’s List distinction in recognition of her outstanding scholarship for the 2014 spring semester. Additionally, she was honored with the “All A’s” distinction. Shick is a double major in Accounting and Computer Science. The University of Richmond, founded in 1830 is a private, highly selective, liberal arts university.

Shick is the Vice President of Service for the University of Richmond’s Omicron Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national coeducational service fraternity. She recently received the 2013-2014 Mack Scholarship Award from the national office based on her volunteer activities and scholarship. Shick also received the prestigious Class of 1964 E. Claiborne Robins School of Business Scholarship based on her high academic achievement.

Amy M. Shick is the daughter of Lucy and Brad Shick of Mountain Top.

She is a 2012 honor graduate of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston. Shick was one of the recipients of the Women’s Club of Mountain Top 2012 scholarship awards.
