ST. JUDE’S CONDUCTS HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION

ST. JUDE’S CONDUCTS HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION-The St. Jude School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society held an induction ceremony for new members in St. Jude’s Church. The society was founded in 1929 in order to recognize and encourage academic achievement while developing the characteristics of scholarship, service, citizenship, character, and leadership. Following the procession of current members and new inductees, the opening prayer was delivered by Principal Jeanne Rossi. The program continued with the traditional candle lighting and inductee pledge. Mrs. Eileen Kempinski, NJHS Moderator, assisted with the pinning ceremony and signing the registry. Refreshments were served to family and friends following the ceremony. The following students have met the qualifications for new membership this year –Jared Bozinko, Grace Dacey, Mary Grace Eckert, Tim Gallagher, Abby Lapinski, Dalton Preston, and Ryan Williams.
