Deborah M. Phipps, 57, White Haven died June 16, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 3, 1957, and living in Mountain Top most of her life, she was the daughter of the former Mary Hughes Nealon, Mountain Top, and the late Patrick Nealon.

Debbie was of Catholic faith and a loving wife, sister and aunt who was devoted to her family and friends.

She was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and Bloomsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in education, and an organ donor to whom she gave someone the gift of sight.

Before retiring, she was a residential nurse’s aide at the White Haven Center for 30 years.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 25 years, Corey; brothers, Dennis Nealon, Nanticoke; Patrick Nealon, Mountain Top; and Vince Carnevale, Mountain Top; sisters, Patricia Nealon, Mary Kay Carnevale and Mary Jo Nealon, all of Mountain Top; and nieces, Karen, Heather, Becky, Sarah, Rachel, Holly, Meghan and Laura. Great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services were held in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
