ART STUDENTS PREPARE FOR THE ST. JUDE PARISH INTERNATIONAL FEST IN THE GROVEMrs. Johnson’s art students at St. Jude School, Anthony Strish, Alex Rymar, Dominic Alberti, Raymond Sabatini, Millie Symbula, Colin Wills, and Anna Capaci, are busy making flags for the third annual St. Jude Parish International Fest in the Grove on Saturday, May 31 (4-11 pm) and Sunday, June 1 (noon-9 pm) on parish grounds at 420 South Mountain Blvd., in Mountain Top. The fest will feature: ethnic foods including Homemade Pierogi, Potato Pancakes, Fish ‘n Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Kibbi, Cannelloni, Tacos, Desserts and more; international beer and wine, music and entertainment with Better with Beer on Saturday (6-10 pm) and The Gold Tones on Sunday (4-8 pm.) There will be plenty activities for children including a Kid’s World Walkabout, which provides an opportunity for youngsters to learn about other countries, and their cultures. There will also be basket raffles and a Dream Vacation will be raffled off Sunday evening. Tickets are now available at the Parish Center. All are asked to bring a can of food to help fill the truck for those in need in our community.
