Martin Ryman II Graduates From U. S. Marine Corps Boot Camp
Pvt. 1st Class Martin Ryman

Martin Lee Ryman II, 19, of Wapwallopen, graduated from the U. S. Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris island, South Carolina. Private First Class Ryman graduated on April 11, 2014 after having successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training. He graduated as one of many recruits in 2nd Battalion, Platoon #2030, Golf Company.

While in recruit training, PFC Ryman accomplished and achieved his Sharpshooter Qualification. Following ten days home on leave, he reported to Camp Geiger for one month of Military Training in North Carolina. Following training, he will attend Military Occupation Specialty School in Pensacola, Florida.

A 2013 graduate of Crestwood High School, PFC Ryman is the son of Martin and Kristy Flick-Ryman, Wapwallopen. He is the grandson of Martin and Brenda Ryman, Wapwallopen, Ms. Darla Jean Watts-Flick, Mountaintop, and the late Chester Ralph Flick, Berwick.
