The Crestwood baseball team trounced host Tunkhannock en route to a 17-7 win on April 21.
For the Comets, Tyler Jones drove in four runs, and Curt Yenchik drove in three in the win. Derek Distasio added two doubles. Brian Markowski had four hits for Crestwood.
Caladie was the winning pitcher.
On April 23, Crestwood defeated visiting Holy Redeember, 8-5.
Yenchik had three hits. Distasio, Caladie. Markowski and Chase Jones and Metgud also recorded hits.
Brett Chupka was the winning pitcher.
Lake-Lehman defeated host Crestwood, 6-1, in a game April 25.
For the Comets, Yenchik had two hits and an RBI. Disstasio scored the run.
Crestwood edged host Coughlin, 13-12, in a high scoring WVC lacrosse game on April 21.
Daniella Callaghan and Morgan Kile added four and three goals respectively to lead the lady Comets.
Also adding to the Crestwood scoreboard were Lizzie Dessoye and Jasmine Muckle with two goals each, while Hannah Ackers and Raegan Distasio each score one.
Paige Zaleppa saved nine in the win.
Crestwood also defeated Dallas, 11-10, in another close game on April 23.
Dessoye and Callaghan lead the lady Comets with five goals each. Sarah Wodarczyk scored the remaining goal.

The boys lacrosse team shut out visiting Tunkhannock, 15-0, in a game played April 23.
Jay Popson led the Comets with seven goals, followed by Andy Bobynskj with five. Ryan Magin scored twice in the win. Robert Coslet and Joe Grandinetti also scored.
Bailey Bauman saved seven in the win.
The boys team fell to visiting Dallas, 8-6, on April 25.
The Comets’ goals were scored by Jay Popson and Bobynskyj with three apiece.
Bailey Bauman saved 18 for Crestwood.
In softball, Crestwood lost to host Tunkhannock, 6-4, in a game played April 23. Colleen Borum had a home run for the lady Comets.
Davies took the loss for Crestwood.
On April 24, Crestwood lost to visiting Nanticoke Area, 4-3.
For the lady Comets, Maddy Heller recorded a double, two singles and a run scored.
Borum was the losing pitcher. Crestwood defeated visiting Lake
Borum went 3 for 3 in the win
with three RBIs. Jordan Olenginski recorded two hits that included a triple and run scored.
Alyssa Davies pitched 2 1/2 innings to preserve the win, striking out the win.

In singles, Comet Bobby Keenan defeated Cameron Tuck, 6-1, 6-2.
The Crestwood doubles team of Chris Fazzini/Christian Malkemes defeated Nick Muldoon/Joe Bevevino in a tough three setter, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Crestwood lost to host Berwick, 4-1, on April 24.
Keenan was a bright spot for the Comets, winning at the No. 3 singles spot in straight sets over Giuseppe Baratta, 6-4, 6-2.
