The Scouts of Pack and Troop 106 recently had an unforgettable experience. Along with their leaders and parents, these boys spent the day exploring the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, and the night exploring and sleeping on the Battleship New Jersey.
At the aquarium, these boys got to touch actual sea life and experience first hand what it takes to care for these amazing creatures. Some of the favorite exhibits included the hippos, sea turtles and petting sharks. The night held a different kind of excitement however. All of these boys got to explore, touch and see first hand what life on a battleship means. From the close quarters in the sleeping areas, the onboard hospital and even a jail, this trip will stay with them forever. The living history touched all of us in different ways.
