Toni Ann Loftus will graduate from Wilkes University in May 2014, with a Doctorate in Nursing. Practice (DNP) degree. Her Doctoral research focused on assessing the impact of computer-based patient education on adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
In addition to fulfilling degree requirements, Toni had three articles published in the nursing journal, American Nurse Today. In addition to her Doctoral degree, Toni holds a Master’s degree in Business (MBA) from Wilkes University and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from King’s College.
Toni is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U. S. Army and was recently stationed in Massachusetts as Assistant Chief Nurse for a combat support hospital. She is currently transitioning to civilian life and hopes to teach nursing courses.
Toni and her husband, Paul, reside in Mountain Top. The couple has 4 children and 2 granddaughters, Madalyn and Olivia.
